Skiing Area

Wolf Ridge Ski Resort in North Carolina, formerly known as Wolf Laural Ski Area, has expanded to include something for everyone. It is a real family orientated resort with 82 acres of mixed terrain suitable for beginners but with more challenging areas to interest the advanced skier.

The ski slopes fall 700ft from the top elevation of 4700ft.

Easily accessible, just 5 miles east from junction 3 of I26. Wolf Ridge is located near Mars Hill just 30 minutes drive from Asheville, North Carolina.

Weather

This resort enjoys some natural snow fall but due to the elevation the temperature makes it ideal for snow making machines to keep the piste well covered for a 3 month season of skiing.
